Will I get a breakfast burrito today?

Shane’s serves the breakfast burrito until 4, so I have a couple of hours to decide. It would be a really nice thing to do for myself today; we’ll see.

We’re not alone in discussing Shane’s Breakfast Burritos.

In an effort to find out everything I could about Shane’s Breakfast Burritos, I went to google.com and entered “Shane’s Breakfast Burritos.” The first item returned was a lengthy review of the Cafe Shane Breakfast Burrito from brooklynian.com. We’re not alone! The reviewer was largely enamored with the Shane’s Breakfast Burrito:

The neatly wrapped, uncut, very portable Shane burrito was filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, sausage, scallions and cheese. I should note that I ordered mine without the onions that normally accompany it. I liked being able to eat it with my hands and got the feeling that, if faced with the necessity, I could enjoy it on the subway or while walking through the nearby Botanical Gardens- what bliss!

The reviewer was concerned, however, that the burrito lacks Mexicality, and that it may not, in fact, be a burrito:

At Cafe Shane, however, there is nothing particularly Mexcellent about the burrito. While it is definitely delicious, I would even venture to say that this is no breakfast burrito, but merely a breakfast wrap.

I’m not so sure. Since Matthew and I have started this weblog titled Shanesbreakfastburritos.wordpress.com, it would certainly be problematic if Shane’s Breakfast Burritos weren’t breakfast burritos at all, now wouldn’t it?

Another fan of Shane’s breakfast burritos…

Comment from Bryan on yelp.com:

The breakfast burrito is incredible and so are the home fries.

Breakfast burrito envy.

I did not order one today. Matthew is eating his. I’m kind of hoping that he doesn’t eat all of his potatoes so that I can have one; they’re really good.

[UPDATE: I just ate one of Matthew's potatoes while he updates the graphic/visual theme of shanesbreakfastburritos.wordpress.com. He is busy on the computer, so he doesn't know.]

Ben has graciously offered to eat my breakfast burrito if it has onions and scallions. He is very kind.

Breakfast Burrito arrived

Ben just returned.

Wait, he has some concern. He says Cafe Shane was incredibly busy, and forgot to put in our order. Ben is concerned that they might have put onions and scallions in my Breakfast Burrito. I’ll keep you posted.

For himself, Ben ordered something else.

Breakfast Burrito

I’m getting another breakfast burrito today. Ben is picking it up. I’m not sure if he ordered one for himself or not. There was great debate.

I can’t wait for the burrito. But I have to. He’s not back yet.

Learn more about Shane’s breakfast burrito’s on the Cafe Shane website. Order one and you won’t regret it. Or if you do, you’ll enjoy that regret. mmmm. Yum.
